Why we exist

In regional communities, finding quality mental health care can be hard. Local waitlists are long, the right support can be hours away, and services are rarely designed with women in mind.

Wellness Avenue was created to change that. We're a telehealth psychology clinic built for women, founded by Megan Sinclair, a psychologist who lives and works in Gippsland on Bunurong land. Megan knows first-hand how difficult it can be for women in the region to access the care they deserve.

Quality care shouldn't depend on your postcode.

We work with women aged 16 and over through:

  • Matrescence and the perinatal period

  • Anxiety and depression

  • ADHD and neurodivergence

  • Childhood and complex trauma, including EMDR

  • Relationships and interpersonal concerns

  • Reconnecting with your authentic self

Confidential by design

In a small town, the person you'd see for therapy might also be at the school gate, the supermarket or the footy club. That can make reaching out feel impossible.

That's why we built our team on purpose. Alongside Megan, who is Gippsland-based, our practitioners Kirsty and Mia are based in Melbourne, so you can work with someone entirely outside your local community. Every session is by secure telehealth: no waiting room, no familiar cars in the car park, no awkward run-ins. Just a private space that's yours, from home, the car or a quiet room at work.

Across Gippsland & beyond

We see women from right across Gippsland and the Bass Coast, from Inverloch, Wonthaggi and Phillip Island to Leongatha, Warragul, Traralgon, Sale and Bairnsdale, as well as across regional Victoria and Australia-wide.

How it works: send an enquiry (it takes about three minutes, with no obligation), and we'll match you with a practitioner, local to Gippsland or outside the region, whichever feels right for you. Your first session is a 90-minute assessment by secure video.

With a GP Mental Health Treatment Plan, you may be eligible for a Medicare rebate on up to 10 sessions a calendar year.
